Filip Heraković

Filip Heraković was born in Pula in 1989.

He graduated in film and television directing from the Academyof Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He is an alumni of Sarajevo Talents programe of 2017 and was selected to participate at Branko Bauer screenwriting workshop in 2012. and 2020.

His project Night Waves was selected to participate at project development workshop First Films First for which he also received script development support from Croatian Audiovisual Centre.

He directed Pelican, a feature film which premiered in November 2022. at the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn where it was awarded a special jury prize for directing. He worked as an assistant director on numerous film and TV projects.

Member of the Croatian Film Directors Guild.
